Pricing & budget planning
Outscraper pricing: rates, free tiers and a job budget calculator
Check Outscraper’s current service rates, estimate Maps and enrichment costs with separate usage counters, and calculate cost per business that meets your criteria.
OwnerClueSources checked Public-source research
The answer first
Outscraper uses pay-as-you-go pricing, with separate service meters and free allowances. A Maps record, a contact-bearing domain, an email check and a phone lookup are different units. Use the checked rate table and your current usage to estimate a job, then measure the businesses that meet your brief.
Open the official Outscraper rate card- A business, a domain, an email and a phone are different billable units.
- The calculator includes prior usage and marginal tier changes.
- A paid record still needs to pass your campaign’s acceptance rule.

Current rates and what each unit buys
The rates below were checked against the official Outscraper pricing page on October 3, 2026. USD, before any taxes or account-specific discounts. The free allowance and volume threshold belong to each service separately.

| Google Maps Scraper | Business/place | 500 | $3, units 501–100,000 | $1 above 100,000 |
| Emails & Contacts Scraper | Domain with found contacts | 500 | $3, units 501–100,000 | $1 above 100,000 |
| Email Addresses Verifier | 25 | $3, units 26–100,000 | $1 above 100,000 | |
| Phone Number Lookup | Phone | 25 | $5, units 26–50,000 | $3 above 50,000 |

Maps extraction pays for business records. The Emails & Contacts product describes metered domains with found contacts; do not count all submitted websites as billed domains. Email verification and phone lookup answer additional questions about particular contact values. Several branches can share one domain, and one domain can publish several emails.
This worksheet uses that domain-based Emails & Contacts service. A separate Contacts and Leads API discussion describes a different unit based on found emails, with a unit for social-only output. Check the precise service or endpoint in your task; do not apply this domain model to every product called contacts.
The interactive worksheet covers the first four services. Add reviews, photos or other selected services to your separate budget. This guide is an independent explanation published by OwnerClue, not an Outscraper account quote. Recheck the rate card and task estimate before running a paid job.
How to use the calculator without overstating its answer
Start with the output you need. A market map may need only business names, addresses and categories. A list for contacting a named owner needs identity and role evidence as well as a relevant contact channel. Those briefs can begin with the same Maps search and end with very different useful outputs.
- Enter Maps businesses for this job. Use the planned returned-record quantity, not the number of search phrases or cities. Revise it when a small task shows a different count.
- Enter expected billable contact domains. Deduplicate the intended list, then use a pilot or task estimate to estimate domains with found contacts. Record submitted domains separately. Repeated branches can share a site, and a submitted site may return no contact data.
- Enter email checks separately. Use the addresses you actually plan to verify. Skip the field if your workflow does not require this service. A domain with three emails does not automatically consume one verification.
- Enter phone lookups separately. Set this to zero if the available business phone is sufficient and you do not need lookup output. A phone-type lookup does not prove the number reaches the owner.
- Fill in already-used units for each service. This matters when another job has used part of a free allowance or reached a price threshold in the same period.
- Define usable businesses. Count only unique businesses meeting your written brief. Do not substitute the number of emails if the denominator is businesses.
- Add other costs you choose to include. Reviews, other enrichment, independent tools and review labor can be included here. Avoid counting the same spend twice.
The model subtracts the cumulative tier estimate before the job from the cumulative estimate after it. This uses marginal bands; it does not reprice every earlier record at the cheapest tier reached. Actual accounting, task behavior and rounding remain subject to Outscraper's own estimate and invoice. Inputs are bounded to one billion units per counter to keep the worksheet numerically reliable.
Download the CSV to preserve inputs, service estimates, total cost and rate-check date. It is a budget artifact, not a data export, invoice or measured extraction result. No account connection is needed to use it.
Three worked budgets, with explicit assumptions
These are hypothetical calculations using the checked rate card and the worksheet's marginal-band model. They are not paid tests, observed hit rates or promises of how many businesses a search will return. Assume unused free allowances at the start, no taxes, discounts, other services or labor costs, and confirm how the provider bills your selected task.
A small one-off business list
Suppose the task returns 2,000 Maps businesses and generates 1,600 billable contact-domain units with found contacts. You do not purchase verification or phone lookups. Estimated Maps cost is 1,500 × $0.003 = $4.50. Domain cost is 1,100 × $0.003 = $3.30. Combined service estimate is $7.80.
If your reviewer accepts 800 businesses, the estimate is $0.00975 per accepted business before review labor. The 800 is an assumed review outcome. A task returning the same 2,000 businesses could produce a different accepted count in another market.
A larger job with selected enrichment
Assume 10,000 businesses, 7,000 billable contact-domain units, 4,000 email checks and 10,000 phone lookups. The job quantities deliberately differ. Contact domains count found-contact outcomes, not all submitted sites.
| Line | Calculation | Estimated USD |
|---|---|---|
| Maps | (10,000 − 500) × $0.003 | $28.50 |
| Contacts | (7,000 − 500) × $0.003 | $19.50 |
| Email verification | (4,000 − 25) × $0.003 | $11.925 |
| Phone lookup | (10,000 − 25) × $0.005 | $49.875 |
| Service total | Sum before provider rounding | $109.80 |
With an assumed 3,000 accepted businesses, that is $0.0366 per accepted business. Add $60 of review cost and the hypothetical total becomes $169.80, or $0.0566 per accepted business. Neither number establishes a cheaper vendor: the other workflow must meet the same field, freshness and review requirements.
A repeated task within one billing period
Suppose you refresh the small list four times in a single period: 8,000 businesses and 6,400 contact-domain units in total. The model yields $22.50 + $17.70 = $40.20. Treating every run as a fresh free allowance would wrongly give four times $7.80, or $31.20.
The second through fourth jobs must include the prior accumulated counters. Repeated companies do not become free simply because your spreadsheet deduplicates the final export. Determine the actual billed units for reruns in your account rather than inferring them from the number of unique prospects you retain.
Free tiers, high-volume bands and billing periods
Outscraper's official rate card describes prepaid and postpaid use, 30-day tier resets and a billing period that starts with a task when no period is active. Its FAQ says the period can close by generating an invoice or automatically after a month. Do not assume this is the first-to-last day of a calendar month.
For a job already inside an active period, use the service counters shown in your account. A remaining Maps allowance does not imply a remaining phone allowance. A large Maps job does not lower another service's rate unless that service independently reaches its threshold.
Under the worksheet model, 100,000 Maps businesses cost (100,000 − 500) × $0.003 = $298.50. Adding one more costs $0.001. It would be incorrect to apply $1 per thousand to all 100,001 businesses merely because the last record crosses the threshold. The marginal estimate for a 2,000-business job after 99,000 prior businesses is $3 for the next 1,000 plus $1 for the following 1,000: $4.
Free usage is a capacity allowance, not a guarantee of contact completeness. A test can be free and still require manual work to establish whether the website belongs to the business, a role is current, or the relevant email exists.
Why raw-record price and usable-lead cost differ
Keep a funnel of counts so the denominator remains visible:
| Count | Question it answers |
|---|---|
| Returned businesses | What came back from the task? |
| Unique businesses | Which rows represent distinct target accounts or branches? |
| Relevant businesses | Which meet industry, territory and exclusion rules? |
| Supported people | Which have evidence for the person and role you need? |
| Acceptable contact routes | Which have a channel suitable for your defined use? |
Do not automatically reject a general mailbox if your brief allows one. Do not automatically accept it if the brief requires a named owner's address. Email deliverability, identity, business relevance and buying interest are separate checks.
Use total selected-service spend plus review and external-tool cost, divided by accepted unique businesses. If zero businesses pass, report the spend and zero accepted output; cost per accepted business is undefined. If your campaign operates per person instead, label that different denominator and count people consistently.
A quoted stack of $3 + $3 + $3 + $5 assumes equally sized medium-tier volumes for all four services before free allowances. It can explain the services available, but it cannot describe every campaign's invoice or cost per usable lead. Write down website coverage, email multiplicity, required checks and existing usage before estimating.
A practical checklist before a large task
Outscraper's own enrichment-cost guide explains that optional enrichments add their own costs. Use that task-specific guidance alongside the rate card rather than relying on a review's headline price.
- Save the selected services, query, geography, record limit and date.
- Record prior period usage by service. Save the task estimate before starting.
- Run a modest sample and retain the original exported file.
- Review a systematic selection of rows, including missing fields and uncertain matches.
- Compare billed counters with returned businesses, domains and contact values.
- Estimate the larger task from the measured quantities, while keeping the acceptance outcome separate.
- Define a stopping budget and inspect the account's actual controls before scheduling reruns.
For automation, keep a job ledger with task ID, requested services, completion state and usage. Check the task's status before resubmitting an uncertain request. Your local database may prevent duplicate imports without preventing a second extraction task from generating new charges. Confirm the specific API's retry and billing behavior before assuming idempotency.
When to use Outscraper, complement it or compare another workflow
Keep Outscraper when its selected extraction services, formats and usage model fit the job. Occasional business-list extraction does not require buying a subscription elsewhere. Reviews or photos also represent different research tasks from discovering owner contacts.
If your list already contains company websites and the unresolved question is public person/contact evidence, OwnerClue domain enrichment can be evaluated as a separate step. You can submit domains or CSV in batches of up to 100 rows, review source URLs and role wording, and export the evidence. This is a file-based handoff, not an Outscraper integration.
OwnerClue counts delivered Maps businesses or successful readable domains, according to its credit rules. A successful domain can still lack email or owner evidence. Public email discovery does not include mailbox verification; OwnerClue does not replace Outscraper's reviews, photos or every enrichment service. See the existing product comparison for that different decision.
Use the same accepted-business definition for both workflows and include remaining verification and review costs. A declared winner without those assumptions is a preference, not a cost comparison.
Frequently asked pricing questions
For a bounded first run, use the Outscraper free-tier audit guide. It covers official entry points, remaining allowances, duplicate review and the contact evidence to check before scaling.
Does Outscraper have a monthly subscription?
The checked service rate card uses pay-as-you-go pricing. Use the official account offer for any different promotion, contract or purchased package; do not apply an old review's subscription table to this rate card.
Do I get 500 verified emails with the free Maps allowance?
No. Maps businesses, contact domains and email checks have separate service units. An address found on a website and a verification result also answer different questions.
Can I use the calculator with an existing domain list?
Yes. Set Maps businesses to zero and enter only the selected domain-contact, email or phone quantities. Include previous usage for those services. The accepted-business denominator can come from your existing list.
Does a 1,000-business task always cost $3?
No. Free capacity, prior usage, optional services and volume bands change the estimate. With unused allowance, the worksheet estimates $1.50 for 1,000 Maps businesses alone. With 500 Maps units already used, it estimates $3 for that additional job.
Can I compare this estimate with a fixed monthly plan?
Yes, after matching output requirements and campaign period. Allocate the plan spend to actual use, include unused capacity and any work still required, and divide both workflows by the same accepted output. First test whether each workflow can produce the required fields.
Is this calculator an official quote?
No. It is a transparent planning model using a dated public rate snapshot. Confirm your task estimate, account terms and invoice with Outscraper. The downloadable CSV preserves the assumptions so you can compare the estimate with actual usage later.
