OwnerClue and Outscraper for local prospecting

Compare documented workflows and billable units for a Maps list with contact enrichment. This comparison does not rank accuracy or claim a measured coverage advantage.

OwnerClue · Updated

Choose by the job you need to finish

OwnerClue is suited to a US/Canada city-and-industry list you want to review in a workspace with person evidence, uncertain website flags and CSV handoff. If you need configurable Maps extraction and a separate data pipeline, examine Outscraper's documented product and enrichment options. A raw business row and a deliverable owner email are different outputs.

This page is written by the OwnerClue team. It compares published capabilities, not results from a paid head-to-head test. Official product information was reviewed on 2026-10-02.

Decision OwnerClue What to check with Outscraper
Market input US/Canadian industry and city; multi-city campaign Supported query/geography setup
Contact enrichment Public business-site contacts; missing values stay blank Which contact/enrichment options your job enables
Person evidence Published role, quote, URL and capture time when supported Ask for a sample proving per-person evidence fields
Existing websites Separate domain upload, 100 rows per batch Domain enrichment product and its limits
Automation Scoped API with async tasks and CSV API endpoints, task completion and output formats
Budget Free trial; paid plans currently preview only Current extraction and enrichment unit prices

See Outscraper's Maps product and its current pricing for its own offering. OwnerClue's pricing counts delivered businesses or successful domains, not verified email addresses. Do not compare a raw extraction price with a complete enrichment/verification price.

A fair sample and cost worksheet

Use the same 50–100 businesses from a dated industry/city sample for both workflows. Record category relevance, correct website association, supported person name and role, working source URLs, public-email rows, explicitly person-linked emails and missing fields. Run the same independent mailbox validation step if deliverability matters.

Total workflow cost includes search, enrichment, optional checks and external verification. Divide it by the rows that meet your predefined contact requirement. Do not replace that denominator with all returned businesses.

No such production comparison is published here yet. Review the data-quality method, try OwnerClue's existing-list enrichment, or stay with your existing extraction workflow if you already have the downstream steps you need.
