Enrich an existing website list
Upload local business domains or a CSV to collect public contacts and supported people records, review row outcomes, and export source evidence without repeating a Maps search.
OwnerClue · Updated
Input and output
Paste one domain per line, or upload CSV with a domain, website or url column and optional name, company or business_name. Use bare domains, for example example.com. Website paths are not accepted by the current domain endpoint. A batch accepts at most 100 rows and CSV uploads at most 100 KB.
For 200 websites, submit two batches; for 500, submit five. Download each completed batch and combine them in your spreadsheet after checking for repeated domains across batches. Automatic splitting and merged export are not currently offered. Duplicate normalized domains inside a batch are crawled once and share the first row's result.
| Result | What to do | Credits |
|---|---|---|
| success | Review available fields; a readable site can still have no email or owner | 1 per unique domain |
| needs_review | Resolve uncertain website/name association before using contacts | Reservation refunded |
| failed | Check the domain and error, then decide whether to retry | Reservation refunded |
| duplicateOf populated | Result copied from the first occurrence | No extra credit |
Evidence follows the row
The full export includes owner_name, owner_title, owner_quote, owner_source_url, owner_captured_at, contact source URLs and capture times, email category, association status and contacts needing review. The preferred email uses the same contact selection logic as Maps leads; a supported person-linked email takes priority over a general mailbox when available.
Read the workflow and field dictionary, inspect an illustrative full CSV, and check data quality for the difference between a readable domain and a matched Maps business.
What happens during enrichment?
OwnerClue inspects up to five reachable public HTML pages on the business website, looking for published contact details and supported roles. It does not render every JavaScript application or automatically search all social and registry sources. AI extraction depends on the configured service being available; unavailable evidence stays blank.
Missing email, insufficient credits, and retries
A successful readable website costs one credit even if email is absent. When credits run out, the batch pauses; add available credits and resume the existing batch. Reuse the same idempotency key for an API submission retry, rather than creating a new billable task. See credits and billing.
Open domain enrichment. Public email discovery does not include mailbox delivery verification.
