Research salons for booking software outreach

Find salons where no booking link was found on inspected public pages, review the actual booking channels, and use supported public contacts for a relevant shortlist.

Search first, then inspect the booking journey

Choose salon and a supported US/Canadian city, or a multi-city campaign. Use booking_not_found to prioritize a browser review. It means no booking-like anchor was found on the inspected public HTML pages, not that the salon has no appointment system.

The current detector examines link text and URLs for book, appointment, schedule or reservation, across at most five pages. It does not fully recognize every provider, render every embedded JavaScript widget, infer staff counts, or inspect Instagram message booking flows.

Manual review checklist

  1. Open the website on mobile and desktop and follow the booking path.
  2. Inspect Maps appointment links, social profile links and provider-hosted pages.
  3. Record any existing provider and the page URL in your research sheet.
  4. Check whether the customer can book the relevant service and branch.
  5. Exclude salons already meeting your target booking requirement.

Google explains that profiles can have local business links, including booking links. Those external profile links may not appear in the site's inspected HTML, so check them separately. An absent crawler signal alone is insufficient.

Keep observations separate from a sales judgement

No booking link found is a research lead, not proof the salon needs your software. Describe a checked customer journey when contacting the business, rather than claiming its system is broken. OwnerClue does not export booking_provider or booking_source_url as dedicated fields; record manual findings yourself.

Use owner evidence, review contact sources, and export a shortlist from the workspace. Unknown owner/email fields remain blank; direct owner email is not guaranteed.
