Find business owners with source evidence

Review supported owner, founder or president records from public business websites, including the role, original wording, source URL and capture time. Missing evidence stays blank.

What an owner record contains

Field Meaning
owner_name Person named by the public page
owner_title Published role, such as owner, founder or president
owner_quote (domain export) / owner_evidence (Maps export) Wording supporting the person and role
owner_source_url Page containing that evidence
owner_captured_at When the evidence was collected

A founder may no longer own the business. A president is an executive role, not proof of ownership. Read the original role instead of treating every owner_name as a current legal owner. The current research inspects business websites; it does not automatically search registries, LinkedIn or every directory.

Only have an info@ address?

First check whether the business website identifies a person with a supported role. OwnerClue distinguishes a general business mailbox, a personal-looking mailbox without owner confirmation, and an email published in the person's own record. Name similarity is a hint, not proof. If no person-linked email exists, the general mailbox or public business phone can still provide a route to ask for the right contact.

Review before you export

  1. Open the lead or domain result and read the role and evidence.
  2. Visit the source and compare its wording with the displayed record.
  3. Check the capture time and whether the person is still in that role.
  4. Keep full CSV alongside any CRM or sending-platform export.

The domain enrichment workflow exports all five evidence fields. Data sources and verification explains website association separately from mailbox deliverability.

Real evidence and missing cases

See the public website evidence sample. It is a small independently checked website sample, not a measured product accuracy result. Download the illustrative domain CSV to inspect the exact output columns, including blanks and review rows.

Is the owner's email guaranteed?

No. Public email discovery does not verify mailbox delivery. OwnerClue does not currently guess email patterns or run a name-plus-domain email finder. Export addresses for a separate verification step if your workflow requires deliverability results.
