Find salon and restaurant prospects for local software sales
City-based salon and restaurant lists, a $100 budget, and a sourced check for public booking and ordering links.

Selling appointment software to US salons
Start with a supported US city and a salon category in the workspace. Keep location-specific business names, websites and public contact sources. A map listing phone or general mailbox is often a more supportable starting point than a guessed owner email. Check each branch before approaching a head office or franchise.
The lead details view now exposes observed booking and ordering links with the page where each was found. Full CSV adds booking_link_status, booking_urls, ordering_urls and journey_source_urls. These make it easier to build a software-sales research queue while retaining evidence.
Restaurant software: a two-person team and $100 budget
OwnerClue's current Starter catalog is $35/month for 10,000 credits. That fits inside a $100 tool allowance before tax and other systems. Enter your expected restaurant records and optional phone checks in the usage planner. A processed restaurant is not a qualified sales opportunity or a verified email.
Search restaurant categories by city, inspect the public website, and use observed “order online” destinations as a review queue. The software opportunity requires a human check: some sites route orders through a third party, some display a menu without checkout, and some restaurant groups use several domains. A link's hostname is not a verified installed-software inventory.
Can a tool confirm online booking?
OwnerClue extracts public anchor links from the pages it successfully inspects. It records the destination URL, link label and source page when booking or ordering wording is recognized. It does not complete a booking, test checkout, inspect every page, or certify the absence of a system.
| Status/evidence | What it means | Sales follow-up |
|---|---|---|
| public_link_found | At least one sourced booking link was observed | Open it and inspect the customer journey |
| not_found_on_inspected_pages | No booking link was detected in the inspected pages | Check navigation, embedded widgets and external profiles manually |
| not_checked | No qualifying observation is available | Do not infer missing booking capability |
| ordering_urls populated | A link with ordering wording was observed | Confirm it accepts orders and serves the right location |
A buying trial for this audience
Sample salons and restaurants separately. Count source-backed contact paths and correctly matched locations, then manually verify a small set of booking/order journeys. Record false positives and missed embedded widgets rather than measuring only link counts. Compare with Outscraper's Maps workflow on the same scope if it is on your shortlist.
Use the booking research workflow for the review checklist and the list workbench to remove already contacted locations. OwnerClue supplies prospects and evidence; it does not replace your scheduling or online ordering product.
