Prospecting tools for review and reputation agencies

Choose custom rating and review-count ranges, separate prospecting from service delivery, and prepare a fresh weekly research list.

OwnerClue · Updated

Filter local prospects by rating and review count

OwnerClue's workspace now supports minimum and maximum rating, plus minimum and maximum review count. Bounds are inclusive. Ratings accept 0–5; review counts must be whole numbers. Missing values do not become zero when a numeric range is applied. The same filters apply to displayed results, counts, API results and CSV export.

For example, select a city and category, then set rating 3.5–4.5 and reviews 10–50. Review the resulting locations before pitching. A low count can reflect a new branch or a different market, and a low rating does not itself prove demand for your service. The older “fewer than 20 reviews” shortcut remains available; you can now set your own threshold directly.

Lead tool or reputation-management platform first?

Your immediate bottleneck First purchase to evaluate
No target-account list A city/category prospecting tool with useful contacts and evidence
Existing clients need review monitoring, response or collection workflows A reputation platform that delivers that contracted service
Need both but can buy only one Identify which activity produces billable work now, and test the other manually at small scope

OwnerClue is the prospecting and evidence layer. It does not provide review-response publishing, client review monitoring or review-request campaigns. Do not buy it expecting those service-delivery functions. Compare a reputation platform's actual prospecting export with the same target city before paying for overlapping products.

A fresh list every week

  1. Keep the last full export or a CRM export containing stable location IDs or name plus address.
  2. Run the next city/category search, then apply your chosen review-count and rating ranges.
  3. Load both files into the list workbench. It removes duplicates within the current list and excludes identities present in the earlier file. Separate branches sharing a website remain separate.
  4. Inspect source dates and the retained rows, then download a full or CRM-specific CSV. Rows without a reliable identity remain visible and cannot be called confirmed new records.

This creates a repeatable weekly workflow; OwnerClue does not yet provide a native weekly schedule or global CRM deduplication. For unattended creation, use the n8n scheduling template and your own persistent CRM/seen-record store. Comparing only last week excludes only last week's matches; maintain a cumulative history to exclude older contacts.

Keep cost tied to usable prospects

The lowest monthly OwnerClue catalog plan is $35 with 10,000 credits. Four weekly searches do not imply four extra subscriptions, but total processed records and optional phone checks consume the quota. Use the planner with monthly totals. The reputation workflow provides context checks; it does not turn a numerical threshold into proof of need.
